(RESTON, VA) The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority) announced today that Jeremy Zollo has been named Chief Market Engagement Officer, a new position created to oversee the organization’s collaboration with stakeholders across market segments, including public safety, industry, academia, and government partners.
“Stakeholder engagement has been and will continue to be the cornerstone of our efforts to deliver the nationwide public safety broadband network,” said FirstNet Authority CEO Edward Parkinson. “We are excited to have Jeremy oversee our market engagement efforts for the next phase of FirstNet as we focus on investing in the network on behalf of public safety.”
Zollo joined the FirstNet Authority in 2014 and previously served as the Branch Chief of the State and Local Outreach Division. He then became the Deputy Director of Consultation, where he focused on incorporating public safety’s input into the development of the FirstNet Authority’s Request for Proposal and State Plans. In 2018, he joined the newly established Enterprise Strategy Division as the Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy. Prior to joining the FirstNet Authority, Zollo worked in the private sector supporting public safety communications programs at the federal, regional, and state levels. He is an 8-year veteran of the United States Air Force.
