Vermont’s first responders are getting a major boost in their wireless communications thanks to new, purpose-built FirstNet cell sites launched in Sheffield, Huntington and Mendon.
Public safety agencies and organizations in thousands of communities across the country are staying connected with FirstNet, Built with AT&T. The public safety community on FirstNet has access to the nation’s largest coverage footprint, reaching more than 2.81 million square miles across the country.
The FirstNet Authority released a statement on H.R. 6768, to amend the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 to reauthorize the First Responder Network Authority.
Salisbury’s first responders are getting a major boost in their wireless communications thanks to a new purpose-built FirstNet cell site located in Salisbury, which will cover portions along North Road and surrounding neighborhoods and businesses.
