The FirstNet Authority has a long-standing history of partnering with NIST’s Public Safety Communications Research division (PSCR). Since 2022, the FirstNet Authority has also provided PSCR with facility space to design and build the NIST Public Safety Immersive Test Center (PSITC), where PSCR conducts immersive public safety standards and measurements testing.
